Maui Crime Log March 8–14: Burglaries, Thefts, Break-Ins

Maui police responded to 13 burglaries, 18 vehicle thefts, and 10 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over the seven-day period between Sunday, March 8, and Saturday, March 14, 2015.

The number of burglaries is four less than the previous week, when 17 incidents were reported.

The number of vehicle break-ins reported is the same as last week at 18.

The number of vehicle thefts reported were also the same as the previous week at 10

• Sunday, March 8, 2015, 3:35 a.m.: Alahama Street at Restaurant Matsu in Kahului. Non-residential, forced entry.
• Monday, March 9, 2015, 8:05 a.m.: Pi‘ikea Avenue at Pi‘ilani Shopping Center in Kīhei. Non-residential, forced entry.
• Monday, March 9, 2015, 12:20 p.m.: Maika Street in Wailuku. Residential, forced entry.
• Tuesday, March 10, 2015, 8:21 a.m.: Baldwin Avenue at Makawao Elementary School in Makawao. Non-residential, unlawful entry.
• Tuesday, March 10, 2015, 10:39 a.m.: Kulike Road in Ha‘ikū. Residential, unlawful entry.
