Trade winds are expected around 15 mph tonight. Mostly cloudy skies are forecasted for windward areas with numerous showers and isolated showers for leeward areas except for West Maui where we expect scattered showers. Low temperatures from 71° to 76° are expected.
Trade winds are expected to blow across the islands through the weekend. The trades will keep showers focused over windward areas. Early next week the trade winds are forecasted to become light enough to allow afternoon sea breezes to become more widespread and produce afternoon clouds and showers over leeward areas of all the islands.
