A Flood Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for parts of Maui. At 7:42 p.m. radar showed heavy rain near Kipahulu. This area of heavy rain was nearly stationary. Other areas in the advisory include, but are not limited to, Kaupo.

A weak surface trough west of Kauai will continue moving away from the islands, decreasing the threat of widespread heavy rainfall and flash flooding. Trade winds, along with drier and more stable conditions, will move in from the east Thursday and Friday as the trough moves away.
