Looking Ahead
Moderate trade winds are expected into next week. Tropical moisture from former tropical cyclone Nora and an old front will spread across the island chain through the weekend, resulting in a wetter weather focused mainly over windward and mauka areas. This moisture will pass west of the islands by Monday with drier conditions expected during the first part of next week.

Today locally heavy rainfall is possible. We expect mostly cloudy skies and frequent windward and mauka showers in the morning. Numerous showers are expected in the afternoon. Leeward spots should get numerous showers in the morning and scattered afternoon showers. High temperatures from 84° to 89°. East winds are forecast from 15 to 20 mph.
