Looking Ahead
Light northeasterly trades will continue through the weekend with a few showers favoring interior areas during the day and windward areas at night. A weakening cold front will move across the island chain during the first half of next week, bringing an increase in showers. Trade winds behind the front will strengthen on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Hurricane Olaf is forecast to pass well east of the islands over the weekend. Olaf is expected to bring large surf to the islands, other weather impacts are not expected.
Today and Sunday
Today partly cloudy skies are expected with showers favoring windward areas in the early morning. Mostly sunny skies are expected for leeward spots with a slight chance of showers. High temperatures from 84° to 89°. Light winds are forecast with local sea breezes in the afternoon.

Tonight and Sunday night
Local land breezes are expected to take hold and push any cloud cover out to sea as the night goes on. Low temperatures from 71° to 76°. Partly cloudy skies are expected with scattered windward showers and clearing skies for leeward spots.
