Winds Slowly Pick up, Relatively Dry Today
A High Surf Warning is posted for north and west facing shores of Molokai and the north shore of Maui through 6 p.m. Monday.
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for all channels (except Pailolo) and windward Maui County waters through 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Trade winds are expected to gradually increase through Monday, becoming locally breezy by Tuesday. The returning trade winds will maintain the mostly dry weather pattern through Monday, but moisture associated with a weakening front is expected to bring an increase in windward showers from Monday night through Tuesday night. Winds will shift to the southeast and weaken on Wednesday, with light winds prevailing into next weekend. Additional fronts may bring increased showers by the end of the week, and again next weekend.
East winds are expected around 5 to 15 mph today. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected with just a slight chance of showers today. High temperatures from 79° to 84°.

Northeast winds are expected from 10 to 20 mph. Low temperatures from 63° to 68°. Mostly cloudy skies are expected with showers likely in windward areas. Partly cloudy for lee spots with isolated showers.
