A disturbance high in the atmosphere is expected to keep the winds lighter than normal through next week. Gentle trade winds will continue most of the time, but daytime sea breezes and nighttime land breezes will prevail this weekend. We do not expect trades to return until early next week.
Partly cloudy skies are forecast today with scattered showers for windward and mauka spots. Morning sunshine with isolated showers in leeward areas in the afternoon. East winds around 15 mph with afternoon sea breezes. High temperatures from 84° to 89°.
