SCORE Maui Boosts Support of Maui Business Brainstormers
SCORE Maui recently stepped up its support of Maui Business Brainstormers, when SCORE Counselor Richard Kehoe presented a public address system at the MBB’s Business in the Think Tank inaugural meeting in South Maui on Sept. 13.
In March 2015, when SCORE Maui delivered the projector to MBB organizers, a PA system still remained on “MBB’s critical need” list.
“SCORE Maui and I have been following MBB’s development since 2012,” said Kehoe. “We worked all the way through for this chance to show again our support, because MBB has been continuously proving to be a genuine and consistent B2B (business-to-business supporting group.”
Since 2012, MBB has presented more than 60 events that needed audio-visual system.
The wireless PA system with lapel and headset microphones will serve an essential function at the first-ever Entrepreneurship Week on Maui, scheduled for this November.
“On behalf of SCORE Maui, I am glad that stepping up with our support to MBB will only help the organizers to continue providing helpful resources for start-ups and growing businesses on Maui,” added Kehoe.
Kehoe is also a CPA with and MBA, specializing in small businesses from start-up to sale. Therefore, as a counselor at SCORE Maui, he wanted to make a contribution that would be of long-term benefit to MBB.
MBB organizers were overjoyed.
“It was a very auspicious inauguration for our BiTT meeting in South Maui,” said MBB organizer Grace Fung. “The High Technology Development Corporation, and Maui Research and Technology Park provided the spacious conference room. SBDC Maui Director Wayne Wong and Maui Economic Development Board’s Business Development Director Gerry Smith facilitated the entire inaugural meeting. The attendees also enjoyed the delicious dégustation of fresh ingredients, a finger food made by gourmet Chef Daniel Edwards team. And as always, SCORE Maui showed up to boost its support of MBB!”
