Moped Theft at Target in Kahului
Maui police and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in a vehicle theft investigation reported earlier this month at the Target in Kahului.
Authorities released surveillance imagery in association with the moped theft, saying the incident was reported at 6:31 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, fronting the store.
Maui police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual whose image was captured on surveillance.
According to police reports, an unknown male removed a gray Genuine brand moped from the front of the store, placed the moped into his white van and left the area undetected. Crime Stoppers says video surveillance shows the individual removing the moped, placing it into the van and leaving.
