A cold front approaching from the northwest is expected to reach Kauai Thursday morning, and proceed down the island chain through Friday night, bringing rain and the possibility of a few thunderstorms. Winter weather could occur at the highest elevations Friday through Saturday.

Partly sunny skies are expected with a chance of showers in the morning. High temperatures from 80° to 85°. Variable winds up to 15 mph and becoming westerly around 15 mph in the afternoon.

Northwest winds around 15 mph. Mostly cloudy skies with chance of showers with partly for windward spots and showers likely in leeward locations. Low temperatures from 66° to 71°.
