Maui Crime, Feb. 12-18: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 7 burglaries, 16 vehicle thefts and 13 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from Feb. 12-18, 2017.

Burglaries were down 59%, with 7 incidents reported over the seven day period, down from the 17 burglaries reported the week before. Vehicle thefts were down 27% from the week before when 22 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins were down 31% when 19 break-ins were reported last week.

Of the 16 vehicles reported stolen, five have since been recovered.
