Q: When can my wife and I expect designated nude beaches in Maui? We were there for our Honeymoon and were so disappointed to not find any nude beaches. We find plenty in the Caribbean, Florida and California. Why not Hawai‘i?

A: We currently do not have any County- or State-managed beaches where nudity is allowed, although many guidebooks can clue you in on the more secluded beaches where nude sunbathing is more common and doesn’t draw as much attention.
