Looking Ahead
A high pressure ridge north of the islands will keep moderate trade winds in the forecast through the week. Periods of elevated moisture will move up into the state from the tropics allowing clouds and enhanced showers to develop across all islands through the week. The first of these wet trade events will continue through tonight for the eastern islands and through Tuesday morning for the western half of the state. A brief drying trend remains in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday and a second round of enhanced showers expected on Thursday.
West Side

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. East wind 8 to 13 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.
