Looking Ahead
Dry and pleasant conditions associated with high pressure will hold into the start of the upcoming week. Trade winds will gradually trend down through Monday, potentially becoming light enough for land and sea breeze conditions for a brief period late Monday through early Tuesday for some portions of the state as a weak cold front approaches and moves into the area. The front is forecast to quickly advance down the island chain late Tuesday through Wednesday, bringing increasing rain chances. Gusty northerly winds along with drier and cooler conditions will follow Wednesday through Thursday. A return of a more typical trade wind pattern will be possible Friday into next weekend.
West Side
Today: Sunny, with a high near 86. East wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 62. East wind 3 to 6 mph.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 85. Light and variable wind.
South Side
Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 60. Northeast wind 3 to 5 mph.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming west in the morning.
North Shore
Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Windy, with an east wind 17 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 61. Breezy, with an east wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 83. Breezy, with an east wind 11 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Central Maui
Today: Sunny, with a high near 84. Breezy, with an east northeast wind 11 to 16 mph increasing to 17 to 22 mph. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Light and variable wind becoming east around 6 mph in the morning.
East Maui
Today: Isolated showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Light northeast wind becoming east 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tonight: Isolated showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Monday: Scattered showers, mainly before noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Light east wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Lanai City
