Trilogy Excursions Offers New Summer Ocean Adventure Camp
Trilogy Excursions today announced a new activity upgrade this summer, geared specifically towards kids.
Beginning June 19, Trilogy’s Ocean Adventure Camp will offer children ages six through 12 a full day of exploration, discovery, marine biology, culture and conservation.
Available June through August, Trilogy’s Ocean Adventure Camp will be offered exclusively on the Discover Lānaʻi Excursion.
Company representatives say Trilogy’s keiki campers will be led by a certified “ocean naturalist,” with curriculum presented in an age-appropriate way, aimed to encourage kids to become ocean ambassadors.
Campers will experience hands-on learning and exploration with topics including Hawaiian culture, sailing, boat terminology, marine life and conservation and sustainability efforts.
Trilogy’s Operations Manager Dani Kleinhenz, participated in Trilogy’s first Ocean Adventure Camp at the age of seven, more than two decades ago. She said she considers that experience to be the catalyst for her career in the Marine Biology field saying, “As a mom and marine-science nerd, I am thrilled to have this camp experience back at Trilogy. For families with young children, this program offers a safe learning environment that is hands-on, educational, and fun while operating in tandem with our Discover Lānaʻi tour.”
Company representatives say all Trilogy camp counselors are CPR and First-Aid Certified, and parents can check in on their kids at any time during the day.
Ocean Adventure campers will receive a complimentary UV/SPF rash guard, a durable drawstring backpack, coloring workbook, reef-safe sunscreen, a kid- friendly lunch and more. Registration information is available here.
According to information compiled by the company, Trilogy is a family owned and operated business and the oldest charter sailboat company on Maui.
