New Hours, Happy Hour & Pop-up Event at Lineage

Lineage has released its happy hour menu, with 50% off select items and specials on select beverages between 4 and 5 p.m., starting Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019.

The happy hour menu features bites like garden poke, farm salad, adobo, katsu curry, musubi and oyster shooters.  Drink specials include $3 off draft beer, 50% off certain wines by the bottle and $10 wines by the glass, along with a $10 “cocktail of the day.”

Open an hour earlier as of Sept. 1, hours of operation will now span from 4 to 10 p.m., with last call for food at 9 p.m.

Lineage is also now available via 808 PickUps, the first food delivery service on Maui.

The award-winning restaurant is Chef Sheldon Simeon’s second solo venture and first full-service concept, with an eclectic menu and dining space inspired by his upbringing (in Hilo).  Guests are first greeted by a rolling cart at each table with starters like garden poke, pipikaula and kimchi dip with One Ton chips.

TASTE 1 — Choice of:  Squid Lū’au Taro Leaf, Coconut, Bee Pollen Farm Salad, Oprah Farms Vegetables, Sugar Can Vin, Shoyu Mayo

TASTE 2 — Choice of: Smoke Meat Sweet Pork, Lychee, Broccolini, Sweet Onion, Hekka Long Rice, Mushroom, Sweet Dashi

TASTE 3 — Choice of: Cold Ginger Chicken Scallion Pesto, Salted Black Bean, Chili Oil Katsu Curry, Fried Cauliflower, Japanese Golden Curry, “Brown Rice”

TASTE 4 — Dessert: Strawberry Tapioca Shiso, Ume, Almond

Lineage will also be hosting a Punch Social pop-up event on Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 5 to 6 p.m. featuring BANKS Rums co-founder Jim Meehan for drinks and light bites.

With a motto of “Eat. Drink. Talk Story,” Lineage is located at The Shops at Wailea, next to Island Gourmet Markets.  The space is primarily first-come, first-serve.  Lineage offers a 25% kama‘āina discount, and complimentary parking validation.
