Annual Keiki Halloween Festival to return to Imua Discovery Garden, Oct. 28
Costumed children and their families are invited to join Imua Family Services at its third Keiki Halloween Festival on Saturday, Oct. 28. Held annually at the Will Smith Imua Discovery Garden in Wailuku, the spooktacular event features live music, activities and goodies offered up by community nonprofit and business partners.
Families can expect a fun-filled evening with live music from Shea Derrick and the Full Flavor Band, monster-mobiles from Maui Classic Cruisers, creative play with Ben’s Big Blue Building Blocks, and in-person visits from many furry four-legged friends.
Pearl Moon Farms and KarMART of Maui are offering miniature donkeys and horses to play alongside Imua’s fluffy alpacas and rabbits. In addition to the cauldrons of candy, food for purchase will be available from Ignition Coffee Maui, Maui Cookie Lab, Outrigger Pizza, Shaka Shave Ice, Sumo Dogs, Yellow Belly and others.
Free children’s and adult costumes are available to anyone directly or indirectly affected by the recent wildfires. In collaboration with toy company JAKKS Pacific and costume supplier Disguise Inc., costumes are now currently available at the Play Imua store at the Harbor Shops in Māʻalaea.
This all-outdoor event is presented by Imua Family Services to allow keiki and their families to experience the spectacle of Halloween in a fun and safe environment alongside friends and neighbors. The registration cost of $5 covers the entire family. Last year’s event was sold out. Registration is available at https://discoverimua.com/halloween.
