The American Heart Association Hawaiʻi is helping more residents prepare to respond in a cardiac emergency with free Hands-only CPR training offered on Maui and Oʻahu.
Community Impact Days will feature three 45-minute sessions on each island:
Maui: Wednesday, June 4, from 4 to 6:45 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Maui, 100 Kanaloa Ave., Kahului.
Oʻahu: Saturday, June 7, from noon to 2:45 p.m. at Waimānalo Health Center, 41-1347 Kalanianaʻole Highway, Waimānalo.
The training is open to all ages and no prior experience is necessary. Participants will learn how to perform Hands-Only CPR, a simplified method proven to increase survival rates during cardiac arrest.
