Looking Ahead
The weekend is forecast to start with fair weather and relatively few windward showers with a modest increase in trade wind speeds Saturday. A weak front is expected to reach Kauai and Oahu Saturday night and Sunday, spreading to Maui county and the Big Island Sunday night and Monday. The front is expected to bring breezy trade winds and an increase in showers. Most of the rainfall should focus over windward spots, but some showers could spread leeward on the smaller islands. Drier trade wind weather will gradually return during the first half of next week.

Northeast winds are expected from 10 to 20 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph on Sunday. High temperatures from 81° to 86°. Sunday mostly cloudy skies with occasional showers for windward areas. Some showers will pass leeward from time to time.
