Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui Inducts Michael Lodato
The Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui welcomed Michael Lodato of Ha‘ikū as its newest member at an induction ceremony held on April 16, 2016.
Upcountry Maui Rotary Club President Zak Pacholl served as Lodato’s sponsor and Rotary District 5000 Gov. Del Green attended the induction.
Lodato, his wife, Laura, and their daughter, Monica, moved to Maui from Santa Barbara, California, in March.
Lodato is a management consultant and the former president of Curvature Inc.
“I had known the Rotary brand for years and always admired how its members acted both globally on big topics like Polio and very locally, helping their communities,” said Lodato. “When I walked into my first meeting at the Upcountry chapter, I could tell it was a fun-loving group of individuals who understand that the best way to balance the hard work of helping the community is to have a good time doing it.”
Lodato enjoys nature and outdoor sports.
The award-winning Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui is a volunteer service organization comprised of community leaders. The club meets on Friday mornings from 8 to 9 a.m. at Casanova Italian Restaurant and Deli, located at 1188 Makawao Ave. in Makawao,
