Looking Ahead
Unsettled weather is likely for much of this week as showers are forecast to increase in coverage and intensity for the next 12 to 18 hours. Locally heavy rainfall is possible through at least Wednesday. A Flash Flood Watch is currently posted for the Big Island but is likely to be expanded to parts of Maui County as the weather situation begins to unfold. The most active weather is expected tonight though Tuesday night. Drier and more stable conditions should return late in the week. A tropical disturbance is expected to pass south of Hawaii early next week. Will keep an eye on it.
