High Surf Advisory: North shore of Maui & Molokai through 6 a.m. Friday. East shores could be under the advisory if the warning expires as expected at 6 a.m.
Marine Weather Statement: A large north-northeast swell will continue to impact Kahului harbor with moderate harbor surges and large breaking waves at the harbor entrance. Mariners should use extreme caution when entering or leaving port and when mooring or launching vessels.

Looking Ahead
Light and variable wind conditions will continue today but a cold front will begin to approach over the weekend and winds will increase out of the south and southwest. The front is forecast to bring widespread showers as it moves through the islands Sunday night through Monday night. Along and ahead of the front breezy conditions are expected. Drier conditions are expected to fill back in Tuesday through late next week.
