Looking Ahead
A cold front and upper level disturbance are forecast to approach the state and bring the potential for heavy rain and thunderstorms on Friday. The front is forecast to stall over Maui County or near the Big Island over the weekend. A pool of cold air high in the atmosphere is expected to move over the islands Sunday. This could bring the potential for heavy showers and thunderstorms Sunday and possibly Monday.

We have variable winds today around 10 mph with afternoon sea breezes. High temperatures are forecast from 83° to 88°. Mostly cloudy skies with scattered morning showers and numerous afternoon showers. Hazy skies are also expected.
