Plan Your Route: Maui Lane Closures, June 24-30

The state Department of Transportation will conduct roadwork in Wailuku and Haʻikū on Maui this week, resulting in alternating lane closures between Monday, June 26 and Friday, June 30.

In Haʻikū, road maintenance continues on the Hāna Highway, and will result in alternating lane closures between Mile Markers 14 and 15 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.

In Wailuku, paving work will take place during the day on Waiehu Beach Road and Lower Waiehu Beach Road.  This will result in lane closures in the eastbound direction between Puʻuloa Street and Makaʻala Drive on Wednesday, June 28, through Friday, June 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Traffic will be contra-flowed during the work period.

All projects are weather permitting and subject to change without further notice.  Motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area and plan alternate routes accordingly.
