Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel Takes Top Rankings in HAWAI’I Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards

Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel, and sister property, The Plantation Inn, were recognized in HAWAIʻI Magazine’s 8th annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel ranked number one on Maui across seven categories ranging from “Best Hotel/Resort with Aloha Spirit” to “Best Buffet” and “Best Hotel/Resort Staff.” Adding to its extensive list of honors, the hotel was also acknowledged across six additional categories for Maui including “Best Hotel/Resort For Families,” “Best Hotel/Resort Guest Services Program” and “Best Resort For A Wedding,” while sister property, The Plantation Inn, was voted the prestigious title of “Best Maui B&B or Inn.”

Rankings in the HAWAIʻI Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards are determined after extensive reader survey conducted by the magazine. Thousands of mainland U.S., Hawaiʻi and international readers participated in the 98-category survey, rating everything from the best Hawaiian hotels and resorts, bed-and-breakfasts and inns, beaches and activities, to the best places to eat, scenic road trips, fashion designers and coastlines in Hawaiʻi.

HAWAIʻI Magazine tallied the picks of more than 200,000 surveys to arrive at the final award-winner list, in which Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel and The Plantation Inn were awarded the following rankings:
