Officials from the Maui Department of Water Supply say customers may want to flush their waterlines for a short time on Thursday morning to ensure that no sediment has accumulated in their waterlines during the project.

Affected customers have reportedly  been notified by the contractor and are advised to store water for the night if needed.

Customers should call the Department of Water Supply 24-hour service line at (270-7633) only if a water problem occurs.
