PHOTOS: Vehicle Fire in Waikapū Doused

Emergency crews are responding to a vehicle fire near Waikō Road in Waikapū. The fire has since been contained and Maui police have reopened travel to motorists in both directions. Sources tell us the roadway remains slick and motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area. A tow truck had arrived to remove the vehicle from the scene. Witnesses tell us that the drive and passengers appear to be uninjured.
