Maui Film Festival Sneak Peek: ‘The Wave I Ride’
In honor of Girls’ Day, Maui Film Festival revealed it has selected a feature-length documentary, “THE WAVE I RIDE: The Life of Paige Alms.” for its Celestial Cinema 10-film series. The film will be shown during the 16th Annual Maui Film Festival beginning Wednesday, June 3, and continuing through Sunday, June 7.

Maui OnStage Presents ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ Beginning March 6
Maui OnStage will present Irving Berlin’s “Annie Get Your Gun” on weekends from March 6 through 22 at the Historic ‘Īao Theater. The musical will showcase the talents of real-life wife Alexis Dascoulias as Annie Oakley and real-life husband Steven Dascoulias as Frank Butler in their first-ever Maui stage appearance.

10th Annual Maui Plein Air Painting Event in Lāhainā Feb. 14 to 22
Twenty-five local and Mainland artists will gather in Lāhainā for the Maui Plein Air Painting Invitational during the week of Feb. 14 to 22. The outdoor challenge featuring artists creating images of people, historic buildings, beaches and mountains is open to the public.
