The finalists for this year’s 44th Annual Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards include names from among Hawaiʻi’s most talented musicians, songwriters and producers.

Maui singer-songwriter Anthony Pfluke has earned his firs Nā Hoku Hanohano nomination for his latest album, featuring all original songs, “We Will Rise,” in the category for Acoustic Contemporary Album of the Year.

Small Town * Big Art presented the installation of a new public artwork by local artist Jaclynn Sabado-Eitel. The installation is part of ST*BA’s mission to develop Wailuku as a public arts district focused on its distinctive sense of place, history and culture.

The virtual concert is live-streamed from the Castle Theater stage and also features lead guitarist, Wailau Ryder and the hula artistry of Phillip’s wife, Pakalana.
