Maui Gas Prices Plateau, State Follows Suit
Average gas prices in Wailuku have leveled off, rising only one cent to $3.22 over the last week, according to the AAA Hawaiʻi Weekend Gas Watch. The average price is 12 cents higher than last month, but $1.09 less than one year ago.

Court Decision: Online Travel Companies Must Pay Back Taxes to Hawaiʻi
On Tuesday, March 17, the Hawaiʻi Supreme Court ruled that online traveling companies must pay tens of millions of dollars in back taxes to the state for hotel rooms sold over the Internet. The companies include Expedia, Orbitz, Priceline and Travelocity.
