Maui Fire Department Announces 5 Promotions
The Maui Department of Fire and Public Safety today announced the promotion of five fighters including Firefighter III Chad Pacheco to the rank of Captain. Also promoted were Modesto Jacinto and John Rosa to the rank of Firefighter III; and Shane Adolpho and Owen Deatrick to the rank of Firefighter II.

Temporary Injunction Granted in Monsanto Lawsuit Challenging GMO Initiative
