MEO receives $10,000 from ASB Charitable Foundation

Maui Economic Opportunity was one of 10 nonprofits in the state to receive $10,000 from the American Savings Bank Charitable Foundation.

140 volunteers participate in 14th ASB community cleanup during National Volunteer Month

In honor of National Volunteer Month, American Savings Bank hosted its 14th community clean-up event to beautify and revitalize the Chinatown-Kalihi neighborhood on Oʻahu. The event was held on Saturday and drew participation of 140 volunteers from eight organizations.

Hawaiʻi Community Lending nonprofit awarded $400K to aid Lahaina homeowner recovery

In a significant boost to aid Lahaina homeowners affected by last year’s wildfires, American Savings Bank (ASB) and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines) have announced an allocation of $400,000 to Hawaiʻi Community Lending through the FHLB Member Impact Fund.

Volunteers from American Savings Bank give back on National Make a Difference Day

ASB teammates on Oʻahu, Maui, Hawaiʻi Island and Molokaʻi participated in community beatification and clean-up projects at ʻAʻala Park, Child & Family Service, Hawaiʻi Food Bank, Hawaiʻi Taro Farm (in partnership with Maui United Way), Kaunakakai School and Waimea Elementary School.
