The Maui Hotel & Lodging Association announced their 2024-2025 Board of Directors at their annual meeting held on Sept. 12 at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. Board members were elected from a list of candidates nominated by MHLA property and allied members earlier this year.

The Maui Hotel & Lodging Association has distributed a total of $1,559,449 to 59 nonprofit beneficiaries of the Maui County Charity Walk.  

Fifty-nine Maui County nonprofits will share $1,559,449 raised during the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association’s annual Maui County Charity Walk that happened last May.

Wailea Beach Resort General Manager Angela Vento will chair the 2024 Maui County Charity Walk set for May 4, the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association announced.

Along with celebrating the appointed, MHLA also recognized the wildfire relief efforts of its members during the Annual Meeting. Maui’s visitor industry is experiencing a daily economic loss of nearly $13 million a day since the August wildfires.
