Mālama Wao Akua celebrates 20 years of art with a focus on Maui’s native species
The East Maui Watershed Partnership and Hui Noʻeau Visual Arts Center proudly celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mālama Wao Akua, Maui’s premier juried native species art exhibit now on display at Hui Noʻeau until Nov. 8, 2024.
MACC presents Chenta Laury’s Adaptive Frameworks and Holly Wong’s Mending Body/Mind, Sept. 12 to Oct. 28, 2023
Maui Arts & Cultural Center will present two solo exhibitions in Schaefer International Gallery that activate spatial potential through fiber, sculpture, and immersive installations. Chenta Laury: Adaptive Frameworks and Holly Wong: Mending Body / Mending Mind will run concurrently from Sept. 12 to Oct. 28, 2023. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Juried Biennial Exhibition runs July 5 to Aug. 6 at MACC’s Schaefer International Gallery
Maui Arts & Cultural Center announced the opening of the inaugural edition of the MACC Biennial—a new, statewide juried exhibition showcasing the voices of artists from across Hawai‘i through an open call for contemporary work. The exhibition dates are July 5 to Aug. 26, 2023 at Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Schaefer International Gallery.
