The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health reported 2,211 new COVID-19 cases for the week of Oct. 13-19, 2022, and three new deaths.

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health reported 1,777 new COVID-19 cases for the week of Aug. 15-31, 2022, which is 442 less cases than the previous week. Hawai‘i’s COVID-19 deaths increased to 1,644, with 12 new deaths reported over the week.

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health reported 4,381 new COVID-19 cases for the week of June 30 to July 6, 2022, which is 981 fewer cases than the previous week. There were 20 deaths. 

The latest data represents the second consecutive drop in the weekly count for new infections, following nine consecutive weeks of increases. 

The latest data represents a total of 3,837 “active” cases statewide over two weeks. This is below the delta peak of 11,500. Maui County’s seven day average of cases is now 13.5 cases per 100,000. This is below the delta peak of 57.6 per 100,000 reported on Aug. 25, and the 412.1 per 100,000 reported on Jan. 21, 2022.

The latest data represents a total of 6,646 “active” cases statewide over two weeks. This is below the delta peak of 11,500. Maui County’s seven day average of cases is now 27.6 cases per 100,000. This is below the delta peak of 57.6 per 100,000 reported on Aug. 25, and the 412.1 per 100,000 reported on Jan. 21, 2022.

There are 740 new COVID-19 cases reported in Hawaiʻi today, including 72 on Maui, seven on Molokaʻi, and two on Lānaʻi. Thereʻs also 11 new COVID-19 deaths, including seven on Oʻahu, three on Hawaiʻi Island, and one on Kauaʻi.

In Maui County, the seven day average for new cases daily is 644. Statewide, there are 394 people hospitalized with COVID-19, including 42 on Maui.

Maui Health leadership continues to monitor the rise in community spread of COVID-19 and the potential for increased hospitalizations amid a surge in cases across the state.

There has been an average of 1,075 cases daily over the last seven days, with todayʻs count rising to 1,828, the highest single daily count for Hawaiʻi since the pandemic began.

There were 1,511 new COVID-19 cases in Hawaiʻi today, including 1,293 on Oʻahu, and 101 in Maui County. There were also three new deaths–two on Hawaiʻi Island, and one on Kauaʻi. Statewide, there were 68 COVID-19 hospitalizations on Thursday. As of this morning, there are 5 people hospitalized with COVID-19 on Maui, including one in the ICU.

Hawaiʻi has had six consecutive days with triple digit case counts exceeding 700. There are 961 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i today, including 866 on Oʻahu and 58 on Maui.

There were 499 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Tuesday. Statewide, there are 443 people hospitalized with COVID-19.

There were 763 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Saturday, including 123 on Maui, five on Molokaʻi, and three on Lānaʻi. The latest data represents an average of 693 cases per day for the state over the past seven days, and a total of 9,346 cases over two weeks.

There were 752 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Thursday. The latest data represents an average of 743 cases per day for the state over the past seven days, and more than 8,900 cases over two weeks.

There were 791 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Saturday, including: 542 on O‘ahu (+2 probable); 129 on Hawai‘i Island (+5 probable); 59 on Maui (+6 probable); 13 on Kaua‘i (+2 probable); five Molokaʻi (+1 probable); and 22 in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state (+5 probable).
