Hawaiʻi State Archives digitizes indexes to hundreds of thousands of records
The Department of Accounting and General Services, Hawaiʻi State Archives division, has finished digitizing 64 volumes of indexes and uploaded them to its website for the public to use for free.

These funds are used for activities outside of the formal class period that are not required for class work or credit. State Land Survey Division digitizing maps to help public access information online
“This will save people time and money by allowing them to find the information online, at any time of day. Right now, people usually hire a professional, like a title expert, to help them. When we launch this map service, people will be able to type their address or tax map key in and have the state survey information on the parcel come up,” said DAGS Director and Comptroller Keith Regan.

Department of Accounting and General Services hires its first Communications Officer, Diane Ako
The state Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) has hired its first Communications Officer. Diane Ako, most recently of KITV4 (Hawaiʻi ABC affiliate), came on board in November. Ako brings 25 years of newscasting experience and four years of public relations background to this job. State Comptroller Keith Regan (formerly of Maui) leads DAGS.
Public Special Use Permit Events at State Capitol Suspended
The state Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) is suspending all public special use permit events at the Hawaiʻi State Capitol, Washington Place, and other facilities it manages beginning Monday, March 16. The Hawaiʻi State Art Museum will also be closed until further notice.
