The average price in Kahului is $4.49, one cent less than last week and 33 cents lower than a year ago.

In Kahului, the average price is $3.48, which is two cents less than last week, two cents lower than last month, and 36 cents lower than on this date a year ago.

Average gas prices in Wailuku have leveled off, rising only one cent to $3.22 over the last week, according to the AAA Hawaiʻi Weekend Gas Watch. The average price is 12 cents higher than last month, but $1.09 less than one year ago.

The AAA Hawai‘i Weekend Gas Watch reported that on Maui, Wailuku’s average is $3.10 per gallon, dropping 11 cents from last week and declining 52 cents from last month. Compared with the same date last year, gas has fallen by $1.15 on Maui.

While prices were below $4 in Honolulu and Hilo, the average price of gas in Wailuku was $4.24 a gallon, down 4 cents from last week, down 12 cents from last month, and up 7 cents from the same time last year.
