New restroom under construction at Haʻikū Park

Construction of a new restroom at Haʻikū Park is underway and is expected to be completed in late 2024, the Department of Parks and Recreation announced. Situated behind the Haʻikū Community Center on Hāna Highway, the restroom will replace a previous comfort station.

$692K Ha‘ikū Community Center Improvement Project Underway

Work has begun on a $692,546 upgrade project at the Haʻikū Community Center’s restroom and kitchen. The community center has been closed because of COVID-19, and improvement work will keep it closed through April 30, 2021.
