Maui junior golfer Kyle Trudell of Kula captured the boys 11-12 division title at the Hawaiʻi State Junior Golf Association | First Tee – Hawaiʻi (HSJGA | FTH) Tour Championship, held Dec. 6–7 at The Club at Kukuiʻula on Kauaʻi.

The Hawaiʻi State Junior Golf Association | First Tee – Hawaiʻi (HSJGA|FTH) conducted the 2024 Tour Championship at Wailea Emerald Golf Course this weekend Dec. 7-8. This event was 36 holes and by invitation only. A total of 57 junior golfers from across the state teed up in the event. This tournament was the final event that awards points to the season race to the coveted HSJGA | FTH Player of the year.

The Hawaiʻi State Junior Golf Association | First Tee – Hawaiʻi (HSJGA|FTH) conducted the 2024 Maui Junior Championship at Wailea Blue Golf Course this past weekend, Oct. 12-13. The 36 hole event drew a total of 48 junior golfers from across the state.

The Hawaiʻi State Junior Golf Association | First Tee – Hawaiʻi (HSJGA|FTH) conducted the 2024 Kāʻanapali Junior Classic at Kāʻanapali Royal Golf Course this weekend on Aug. 17-18. This event was 36 holes. A total of 35 junior golfers from across the state teed up in the event. This tournament awards points for HSJGA | FTH Player of the Year and the season race to the coveted HSJGA | FTH Tour Championship on Maui in December (an event that is by invitation only to top finishers on the HSJGA|FTH Points List throughout the season).

The Sentry Tournament of Champions, in conjunction with First Tee – Hawaiʻi, will host a fun and interactive event for Junior golfers of all skill levels.

Joshua Hayashida, Peter Jung and Myah McDonald took home trophies in the 2018 Kāʻanapali Hawaiʻi State Junior Golf Association Match Play Championship.

This year’s Hawaii State Junior Golf Association College Workshop is March 24, from 9 a.m to noon at Lahaina Civic Center. The workshop is free and geared to students ages 10-18 interested in playing any college sport.
