Walmart hosts The Wellness Event—a free, nationwide health and wellness experience—taking place Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Walmart stores across the country, including all nine locations in Hawaiʻi, including Kahului on Maui. Walk-ins are welcome and no registration is required.

All Walmart locations statewide will participate in the first Wellness Day of 2025 this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where customers can receive free BMI and blood pressure screenings, and affordable immunizations like COVID-19, flu, RSV, tetanus, hepatitis, HPV and more.

All nine Hawaiʻi Walmart stores are participating, including Kahului Walmart. Customers can receive free glucose, cholesterol, BMI and blood pressure screenings as well as affordable immunizations like COVID-19, flu, RSV, tetanus, shingles, hepatitis, HPV and more at pharmacies nationwide. 

In advance of the reopening of interisland travel in Hawai‘i, on Tuesday, June 16, the state Department of Health has created a new web page, where travelers can download the mandatory interisland travel and health form prior to departure. 

The University of Hawaii, Maui College Nursing Program will host a health and safety fair at the Kahului campus on Wednesday, April 20, 2011.
