A portion of Hoʻohana Street in Kahului is closed to traffic between Kamehameha Avenue and Wākea Avenue due to a large oil spill on the roadway. Maui police say the spill is also partially on Puʻunēnē Avenue. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and take an alternate route until the roadway is cleared.
