HDOT to host final meeting on Hāna Highway historic bridge improvements, Nov. 18

The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration Central Federal Lands Highway Division, will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, to discuss planned improvements to six historic bridges along Hāna Highway (Route 360) between Huelo and Hāna town in East Maui.

Public input needed on Maui’s list of transportation projects prioritized for funding

The Maui Metropolitan Planning Organization has released its draft 2025-2028(+2) Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), with more than 60 fiscally constrained transportation projects that are prioritized for funding. The public is invited to review the list on mauimpo.org and share their feedback online or at upcoming events in July.

Public Meetings to Discuss Hāna Highway Bridge Updates

The Department of Transportation will host a series of public meetings to discuss a project to improve six of the historic bridges along the Hāna Highway.
