Brush fire along Kūihelani Highway burns 5 acres of fallow agricultural land

A fire along the Kūihelani Highway in Central Maui burned 5 acres of brush before being brought under control on Wednesday. The fire was first reported at 11:21 a.m. on Nov. 13, along the highway, west of Waikō Road.

Firefighters respond to brush fire in Māʻalaea

Maui fire crews extinguished a three acre brush fire in Māʻalaea on Sunday evening at around 8 p.m. The fire was first reported at 4:43 p.m. on Sept. 29 off of the Kūihelani in the area of Old Dump.

A fire along the Kūihelani Highway in Central Maui on Friday afternoon burned five acres of brush before it was brought under control. Fire officials declared the blaze 100% contained at 6:55 p.m. No damages were reported.

Brush fire along Kūihelani near Maui Lani quickly brought under control

A small brush fire off of the Kūihelani Highway near the Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course burned an estimated 30-foot by 100-foot area along the highway, opposite to any development.
