But sellers say it’s a tough call to put their properties on the market and that they’re just trying to recoup their losses and move on with their lives.

Maui Disaster Area Residential restrictions lifted for Zones 10A, 10B, 10C and 10D
County of Maui Disaster Area Restrictions will be lifted for owners and residents with vehicle passes from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, beginning Monday, Dec. 4, and Tuesday, Dec. 5, in Zones 10A, 10B, 10C and 10D. Some residential and commercial properties in these zones have been deferred by the federal Environmental Protection Agency for health and safety reasons.

On Oct. 13, Maui County lifted disaster area restrictions for property owners and residents who live in zones 5C, 9M and 16A and for maritime 17D and 6A (Māla Wharf) in the Lahaina burn zone.
