The University of Hawaiʻi Community Colleges have earned a gold 2025 Paragon Award from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations—underscoring the quality and impact of the marketing work being done across the seven community colleges currently serving almost 24,000 students.

Hawai‘i Ag & Culinary Alliance (HACA) announced that applications are now open for Cohort 7 of the Cottage Industry to Commercial Enterprise Scholarship, a workforce and business development initiative designed to help Hawaiʻi’s value-added food entrepreneurs expand from small-batch production to commercial success. Applications are open now through Dec. 31, 2025. 

A new report from the Carnegie Foundation highlights how UH schools are expanding access to higher education—and helping students succeed after graduation.

Applications are now open for a state-funded program empowering Hawai‘i-based entrepreneurs to develop their food products from concept to business plan and pitch, providing tools to grow and scale their businesses.

Enrollment at the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College is up 6% from the last fall, for a total of 2,792 students, according to the University of Hawaiʻi System.

Hawaiʻi residents can now apply to any of the University of Hawaiʻi’s 10 campuses without an application fee, as the University seeks to strengthen the pipeline into public higher education across the state.
