The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation notifies highway users of potential traffic delays as modular homes for wildfire survivors are transported from Kahului to the Ka Laʻi Ola housing site in Lahaina, beginning Friday night, Sept. 20 through Tuesday night, Sept. 24. 

The Unsafe Water Advisory for the Lahaina water system was expanded on Aug. 18 to include the area from Kaniau Road to Leialiʻi Parkway, according to Maui County.

The state Department of Transportation will be conducting road work this week that will result in lane closures at various locations. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.  All projects are weather permitting.

The state Department of Transportation is working on several road projects that will result in lane closures through Feb. 11, 2022.

Honoapiʻilani Highway, north bound right turn lane onto Leialiʻi Parkway is closed; and Leialiʻi Pkwy, left turn south bound on to Honoapiʻilani Hwy is closed.
