14 recruits join the ranks of the Maui Police Department

Fourteen recruits joined the ranks of the Maui Police Department as part of the 98th Recruit Class. The class held its graduation ceremony at the Grand Wailea Resort on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025.

Lahaina Restoration Foundation awards $10,000 in scholarships

The Lahaina Restoration Foundation recently awarded $10,000 in scholarships to Lahainaluna High School seniors and alumni for the 2024-2025 academic year. The scholarships for $1000 each were awarded based on eligibility criteria such as acceptance into accredited two- or four-year colleges and universities, as well as essay submissions.

Realtors Association of Maui Community Foundation awards $37K in scholarships

The Realtors Association of Maui Community Foundation has awarded $1,000 scholarships each to 37 students from Maui County. 

Maui County Federal Credit Union Awards $20,000 in College Scholarships

Maui County Federal Credit Union awarded 20 students with $1,000 scholarships towards their college education, giving out an additional five scholarships this year.
