#lifetime achievement

Hula Grill Kāʻanapali has named George Kahumoku, Jr. as the recipient of its inaugural E Ola Mau Ka Mele award for his efforts to preserve and perpetuate Hawaiian culture through the playing and teaching of music.

The certificate congratulates the Grammy award winner on receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Hawaiʻi Academy of Recording Arts.

Among the winners were: Heidi Watanabe, Feed My Sheep, Mitzi Toro, Angela Leone, and Ryan Ouye.

Twenty-eight years, six Mcdonald’s franchises and 300 employees later, Erlinda Rosario still believes in a hands-on approach.
