South Maui waterline temporary repair completed; Water conservation requested from 5 a.m. Sunday through 6 p.m. Monday

The County of Maui Department of Water Supply is requesting that all South Maui customers, including residents, visitors, hotels and condominium properties, conserve water and limit nonessential use from 5 a.m. Sunday, April 5, through 6 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2026, while crews complete permanent repairs to a South Maui mainline.

DWS: Mandatory water conservation needed for South Maui

The County of Maui Department of Water Supply announced that mandatory water conservation is necessary for hotels, resorts and other businesses, along with visitors and residents, of South Maui. South Maui comprises Kīhei, Wailea and Mākena.

Water Shutdown to Affect Portions of Homes in Mākena Area, March 2

A portion of homes in the Mākena area will have their water shut off from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Valve Repair to Shut Off Water Supply in Mākena

Parts of Mākena will be without water on Monday and Tuesday, April 6-7, 2015 while crews from the Maui Department of Water Supply work to replace a water valve.
