Beginning Thursday, July 1, some Maui Bus routes that were paused during the COVID-19 pandemic will resume and there will be a new $25 fixed-route, reduced monthly pass for eligible riders.

The County of Maui Department of Transportation announced that beginning Monday, July 1, 2019, the Maui Bus is implementing reduced single boarding fares of $1.00 for fixed route service. This reduced fare applies to seniors (55 years & older), paratransit eligible and person with a disability (with pertinent valid ID), and Medicare card holders.
